As a student of music, I always love it when musicians venture outside the standard 4/4 or 3/4 time signatures. It’s not an easy task to do without looking like you’re trying to hard. However, when it’s done well, I geek out.
Gary Go manages to seamlessly bounce between 6/8 and 5/4 in his song “So So” without breaking a sweat, and I’m all about it.
