I came across this Instagram post called 7 Fears That Can Hold People Back, which I thought it was pretty spot-on. Even though I don’t suffer all of them… there’s a couple in there that chin checked me a little it.

Fear of change can lead us to miss out on opportunities.
Life without change is death.

Fear of loneliness may discourage us from being alone or leaving unhealthy relationships.
Why stay with someone who doesn’t bring you peace just to say you have someone?

Fear of failure can prevent us from taking risks.
Fact is, you fail by not trying.

Fear of rejection may stop us from asking worthwhile questions.
Unanswered questions breed uncertainty.

Fear of uncertainty can lead us to avoid trying new things.
We have to be willing to push through the discomfort and discover the unknown.

Fear of being judged can prevent us from being our authentic selves.
True freedom is found when you don’t care what others think about you. What matters most is how you view yourself.

Fear of losing freedom may cause us to avoid making commitments.
The right commitments could grant you more freedom than you’ve ever known.
